lokum® Amplatz Type Guide Wire

This particular stiff type Amplatz is available as a 0.035” guide wire with tip-length of 5cm and with straight 3mm-J-Tip or 6mm J-Tip configuration. The length varies from 180cm to 360cm. In addition the tip visibility will allow a safe position of the wire thus keeping control during the procedure.

The Lokum Amplatz Guide wire is a stiff type guide wire for the use in the vascular and non-vascular system. It is providing the operator with a safe tool to further advance catheter systems, which need a stiff support in order to get to the desired location. This will ultimately save valuable time in the OR thus provide a safe guide for further minimally procedures.

Contra-indications:
The extra stiff Lunderquist guide wire as 0.035” and 0.025” are contra indicated for the use in the cerebral vasculature and the coronary vessels.

Stiff shaft
The Lokum Amplatz offers a stiff shaft that provides an excellent support for further devices.
A HD-PTFE coating allows a smooth passage to reach the target area without any difficulties.

Atraumatic tip
The highly versatile soft tip construction offers an extra safety during the procedure even during challenging procedures.

The Lokum Lunderquist is available in broad product variability, which targets most of the procedures that require an extra stiff guide wire.
